As the name suggests, this isn't exactly a web cam but rather an internet based TV station produced by and streamed from NASA. It has a full TV schedule based on the obvious theme of space and science. In addition, it covers events such as shuttle launches, space walks, etc live.

If you feel like inflicting some pain on yourself, this is the cam for you. Streaming video with sound of the stage of The 7 Bamboo karaoki bar in San Jose. It's actually quite funny at times. Cotton wool recomended :)

You are asked to install a small plugin to run this cam but it's safe. I've loaded it and had no problems.

Situated on Hanson Island in Canada, this cam looks over the bay and follows the activities of Killer Whales that frequent the bay during the summer but you will also see other wildlife such as seals. The underwater views are very clear and you can see shoals of fish swimming past the camera. This cam shuts down from the end of October until June when the whales migrate south but you can sign up for an alert newsletter to be informed when the whales are back.

This cam is fully streaming with sound and has 56k and 300k connection speed choices. Click on one of the pictures half way down the page to select your speed. On the next page you will see three buttons underneath the video panel. use these to select the camera you wish to view. There are two cameras entitled "Channel A" & Channel B". Alternatively, "Channel A & B" allows you to view both cameras at the same time in one video channel.

Usually, one view is underwater and the other is on the surface but they do change from time to time. The cams are manned so will point to any activity. The mics are placed underwater so u can hear the whales calling as u watch.

The view is of the deer park but also contains Boars, Vultures as well as naturally occuring wildlife such as rabbits, foxes etc. It is manned so will always be pointed at where the activity is. At night there is no vision but you can still listen to the sounds of nature if you wish.
